Amanda was raised by the Canadian Rocky Mountains. If it was up to her, each Forest Play session would be spent collecting spruce cones, staking out hiding spots, negotiating teams and playing the infamous 'Hunger Games' of the forest. 

When she's not playing with the children, she can be found studying psychotherapy and art therapy. 

She is most curious about making art, usable items, and skin care products from natural, forged materials. We're lucky she's imparting some of her learning to the children! 

Although she's keen to bundle up and play in the snow, Amanda's favourite season is summer! She loves going paddleboarding in the sunshine and munching on wild berries on the endless summer days.
